As some of you will be aware, for my sins,I have  now
Ceased  with the  R.S.G.B.
However, I have now started on a new angle to our hobby.
Some of you will be aware that the INTERNET has and is
Revolutionizing the ways that we can now communicate.
Well, Some of you will also be aware of the new idea of
INTERNET LINKING, using programs such as ECHOLINK
Which uses the power of the internet to connect people
By means of their computers .
Apart from ECHOLINK, There is another program  which
Is becoming  very  popular worldwide and that is a program
Called I.R.L.P.   Basically the program works using RADIO
And the INTERNET TOGETHER to allow communications
Between Ham Radio Operators  to occur in real time ANYWHERE
In the World, In FM Quality.
Which is why I installed a  I.R.L.P. GATEWAY here in
SCOTLAND in EDINBURGH approx 3 years ago.
Why not give it a try. The Gateway is available on the 2 meter
Band on a frequency  of 145.287.5 Mhz  with an access tone
Of  94.8 Hz C.T.C.S.S.
